Do you mean just 1g of vitamin C per day?

That's actually not much by orthomolecular standards. (cf. Linus Pauling).

Try going for towel tolerance. We need more than most people think at the best of times, and even more when under any kind of stress.

There is no toxic dose of L-ascorbic acid (make sure it's the L- form you are taking).

The worst that can happen is the runs, and that's not necessarily a bad thing when you are trying to detox.
