Just guessing but your throat is probably inflamed from the dead parasites. If that is what it is it should be better in about 5 days.

Try a antihistamine and see if it goes away or gets better.

The coughing after or during eating is the parasites method of getting the larvae from the lungs to the digestive system. If you stopped coughing it's a good thing.
