You say enzyme delivery system- thinking of the nutrients inside the malt syrup?
Maan, I loved the molasses-lemonjuice-salt rehydration water mix, but my bloodsugar? Only half as much. Tasted like V8 juice.
What can I ay? This is week 2 of raw with type 1 d, I had to lower the night basal rate (resting period where folk normally produce insulin) again because of more low blood glucose levels. Trying, but nice.
Barley malt cookies are a trrrial just as yet. Without insulin you don't produce amylase either, and then the free glucose molecules becomes candida food. Jarrow cold-extracted pancreatin is very nice for foods like that, but I end up paying out the yingyang for consistent use of enzymes. For the moment, I figure lightening the digestive load is a wise path. about 24 years of supplemental insulin with a normal diet and inhibited enzyme activity has put about 6 months' worth of camel fat on me. (insulin & amylase are released in beta-cells in the pancreas and mediate the digestion of carbohydrates )
