My fiancť and I have this same issue. I have been on non stop medication every month for a year. I've tried it all, even high dosage of probiotics. My doctor says men do not carry it and it's impossible he has it. I've read blog where men state they have symptoms yet do not have any STDS since BV isn't considered a STD. Yet there are men out there who state they feel they have BV. We have been trying to get pregnant and it's frustrating bc my BV acts up really bad to the point where now it's causing a rash and irritating him after sex. We have both gone to get checked and so any STDS are out of the questions. Now we're trying to have him take the medication for 3 days as I've read online that men should take and be for 7 days. I don't know what else to do since there is no research or information for us women with this semen/ph balance problem that occurs with specific partners. I'm worried that this may ruin our relationship. I'm worried that this may be affections our chances to conceive. Does anyone have suggestion or recommendations on things which they have tried? This is a big problem with no solution! It's crazy that we live in a time were doctors have no clue or solutions for problems like these.
