Re: Humaworm Experience

I'm convinced that all Infectious Disease MD's have absolutely zero interest in any patient that is well enough to walk and talk. I think they prefer to treat patients who are literally lying in a hospital bed, hooked up to machines, barely able to speak, much less voice any type of opinion or provide the dr with any info related to their case. Basically, they don't want to hear from the patient directly, rather they prefer to go by their med chart or their attending physician's findings. I would never go to an ID or GI specialist. Some lucky few will run into an inquisitive PCP. They work with the general public because they still care and really want to help people, otherwise they would have specialized in a sub field that is more distanced from daily interactions from the general public. Your best chance of receiving treatment from a doctor is from your own family physician, but as soon as they refer you to a specialist it will all go downhill from there. Time and time again. Stop wasting your time and money on these horrible people. You will never convince them and your bad review of the doctor will fall on deaf ears. Why are you paying someone to call you crazy? That is crazy!
