42 days on iodine, 1 week on 100 mgs and some changes
I'm taking all my supplements:
B12 liquid drops
Vita D3 Magnesium Citrate
Some general notes on symptoms:
My appetite has returned and I seem to be appropriately hungry and or full, rather than feeling uncomfortably full even with a little bit of food. And it seems I'm very slowly but steadily increasing in energy level.
i'm getting red dots on my trunk and legs and I seem to have broken out on various places all over, more than before.
My period started with very mild cramps and almost snuck up on me. So, my PMS problems seem to be effectively resolved!
I've had a few nights where I couldn't go to sleep and very strange dreams.
No belching at all for days.
I've made some changes: From now on I'm taking 100 mgs 5 days/2 days without Iodine to give myself a rest and help my kidneys process all the toxins/iodine. I don't see any advice on whether taking 2 days off is recommended or not, but I know last week I took a few days off and I felt better. i'll take all my other supplements on my off cays.
I ordered some multi vitamin patches from Amazon. I plan to use them in conjunction with my other supplements to ensure that I get enough absorbed into my system.
I'm still a lot over the weight I was before I started Iodine. I'm not as worried about it because now that my appetite has returned I feel like my metabolism hasn't slowed down. But this continues to be an upsetting side effect of taking iodine.
