I'm in the middle of my 14 day water fast. This is my first ever water fast. I am absolutely petrified about gaining all the weight back. I expect to gain some water weight back which will be inevitable but how can I reduce fat gain as much as possible? If anyone has had success in this area, please share! Do you just eat until you're full and satisfied, or do you count calories? I have always enjoyed counting calories because it helps me keep my diet in check. My metabolism will be slow for a few weeks after the fast so how many calories is recommended to take off from my maintenance level of calories (10%, 20%)?
PS I will be adopting a high carb low fat vegetarian/vegan diet + 8 hour intermittent fasting after the fast
