I followed the recipe for diabetics to begin with because I was very Sugar sensitive - lemon and water as directed, a tablespoon per glass of molasses and a sprinkle of cayenne to begin per glass. I slowly worked up to adding another half tablespoon of maple syrup - and upping the cayenne. When I am hungrier I add the higher amounts of syrup, when I am doing fine I have the lower amounts... I keep the lemon and water exatly the same for each glass. And I drink alot of water.
You will be delightfully surprised at how well this feels in you if you can trust it and hang on tight through the first few days.
I am very glad you read the journal - that is why I put it online. I read a woman's journal of her two cleanses and got the courage to try it with that!
