Leaving It Alone...Sort Of
Hello. I've been a lurker on this forum for the past couple of years, but had a few questions that I think merit a post.
I do have EC, and have begun experimenting with the "Leave It Alone" method for about two months. It's hard to tell if I'm making progress (I thought this would be more apparent), but it appears that the top of my upper lip is beginning to build back the regular, elastic skin...almost like anti-erosion. It appears to be building downward. That said, this might all be wishful thinking.
My question for anyone testing this method is:
Do you trim dry crusts, or let them fall off naturally?
I find it hard not to trim, particularly when I know I will be interacting with people (you know, that special part of living). I use a pair of nose hair scissors, and never peel. I also drink purely through straws, and prevent exposure to toothpaste.
Is this considered 'leaving it alone', and has anyone seen progress with this method?
Thanks for your time.
