I hear ya! reading other peoples' experiences, their support and kindness, well it has been all very helpful for me as well in my case. I suppose it is nice knowing we aren't alone in our weird, surreal, lonely battles. I sometimes feel I'm living a bit of a Kafkaesque experience, but instead of being a bug I just have them inside me ;)
I think diet is so key, regardless of where one is with their health.
For what it's worth I think your 30 day things is very sensible, cost efficient, and safe thing to try out. Do you plan on sticking with a mostly plant-based diet and no refined sugars after the 30 days?
I eat mostly plant-based diet, throw in chicken from time to time, and I avoid refined sugars at all costs. I do believe in the practice of moderation but for me I think it has been helpful avoiding the refined sugars. I also avoid processed foods.
Hopefully the diet can even help beyond the parasites! I do think healthy eating is very beneficial to everyone, but even more so to those of us dealing with chronic health issues.
