Re: Blastocystis hominis and D.fragilis - water fast cure

Fasting is unlikely to get rid of them, they are too smart for that. Protozoa are tricky and understudied.

Drugs will work for people who have been infected within a short time but for people who have been infected over a longer period of time, I think it can be a problem. Another consideration is the type of parasite you are dealing with, some are easier to get rid of while others are much hardier. Resistance is another consideration, in which some are able to resist the pharmas.

If you are looking for non pharma approach then this is what is the most likely to help:

Goldenseal Leaf. This is not the same as Goldenseal Root. The leaf has the ability to stop resistance (binds the efflux pumps and by binding the pumps, the resistance will be lessened).

Caprylic acid or caprylic acid with monolauric acid. Both from coconut. Both have antiseptic properties, reports has shown these to kill bh.

Neem. Widely used as an antibiotic, antiparasite.

Graviola. Natural antibiotic, anticancer.

Chai tea contains black tea which I had someone tell me this is all they drank (black tea) and it was killing protozoa. Chai has other Antibiotic spices in it.

Lactoferrin. Lactoferrin is a natural Antibiotic that has particular affinity for destroying biofilms. Biofilm environments allow pathogens to be protected. Some use it with Xylitol, some report good results and others report Xylitol can cause problems.

A couple of good homeopathics to use are Amoeba by Deseret Biologicals and Protozoa by Hanna's Herb Shop.

Protozoa are difficult to remove and require persistance and pressure. Do not expect to get rid of them in a short time.

Other notables are Cubeb peppercorns, marigold, DiarCare by Himalya. No formulas containing Black-Walnut have been shown to help.

It best to rotate remedies. Please see this forum for more help which is devoted to protozoa. http://pptu.lefora.com/
