TSH levels, sodium iodide symporters etc
Googled this : its an old CZ Thread. Searched for
Iodide symporter related stuff
"It seems that an elevated TSH really shows that
Iodine absorption is occurring - in other words the sodium-iodide symporter is doing its job. The symporter is regulated by TSH. And so I should probably be happy my TSH has gone up.
Brownstein says TSH elevation usually lasts from 6-12 months. But I read where it can last for 18 months.
For my next doctor visit I will need to bring an explanatory sheet on sodium-iodide symporter and TSH. Although I will not agree to taking thyroid hormones I will agree to have my TSH and thyroid hormone levels checked every few months."
Now i m asking myself what it means, if TSH levels actually lower on 50-100mg
Iodine right frim the start and never rise after beginning the
Iodine Protocol.
Mine were 1,3 before i ve changed my diet and got iodine deficient. then my TSH rose up to 3,6.
After being on iodoral 12,5 mg for about 2,5 months ( November 2013-january 2014) TSH was already down to 3,03 .... In April my TSH was 2,20 ... I believe i took 50mg by Then or even 100mg already.
In july my TSH was 1,94.
As u can see it always went down. never up.
Why did mine lower where as its rises in most cases and is even wished to rise ?
As i lowerd my iodine to 12,5 mg in July my TSH was up to 3,45 again in November.
Rose it again after that and in february it was down to 2,18 again.
tried to upload my results hahhaha
but no matter what i do.... its turned
sorry
maybe u can copy it and turn it correctly
