Re: Update

You need cooling foods and herbs to treat acid reflux.

I get heartburn sometimes from some of the cayenne, garlic, turmeric and heat forming foods. It may even be caused by stress. I know clove give me some of that also.

Try to eat more raw foods, and juicing vegetables and low glycemic fruits like lemon and green apple, cranberry and pomegranate.

Aloe vera juice is a perfect solution for any acid-reflux issues.
Along with sea vegetables.

Cucumbers, lettuce, and Celery are cooling.

Slippery elm, mint, fennel, rosehips, hibiscus, are some cooling herbs.

Lemon juice is helpful, along with baking soda, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon in a cup of water, balances your ph most people with heartburn take baking soda, and I found relief from that remedy.

The problem with a lot of the anti-fungals is that their is some heating involved, and then it's going to create imbalance. As long as you balance with cooling herbs and foods, you can achieve results.

taking an enzyme supplement will help ease digestion, and break down the foods quickly, so that less work is happening on your liver, creating more of that heat.

35% food grade peroxide kills off bacteria and parasites that continue that heat.

and the emotions, the liver holds all suppressed anger, if you have pent up anger, like all humans do, you are creating this undesirable heat to persist. so deep breathing may support the release of festering emotions.
