I am no expert but it seems to me that those who lose a significant amount of weight only to gain it back, regain the weight because their metabolism was made to be low. I have a poor metabolism to begin with and do not want to make things worse from this cleanse. Can you feed your body the calories it needs to maintain your metabolism by perhaps increasing the amount of maple syrop you use?

While I am overweight and would love to lose weight, I do not want to do anything to harm my already fragile metabolism. It is my hope that one of the effects of the cleanse is to actually correct my low metabolism.

Any thougths would be appreciated.
