Re: Big thanks to DessertLily

Hi Archus, nice to 'see you', as well. I haven't done a Water Fast for awhile, haven't felt the same sense of need urging me, as I did, oh, six years ago or so. I pop in from time to time. Haven't seen Chris hereabouts, hope he is well. And Vida... If either of you read this, I hope it finds you thriving.

Archus, how enlightened of your parents, raising you vegetarian!
I was the cook and kitchen manager at a retreat centre for a time, and even there, there was a schism, between those who wanted (or craved) meat, and those who could see that it is possible to eat vegetarian and do very well. So much of how we were raised tends to program us.

But as Sadhguru and many others know, there is a right and a wrong way to do it-- sorry, make that a beneficial and a detrimental way to do it. I liked that he makes a point of how important the raw food is. I know that in hard winters I tend to get into eating more bread, and feeling sluggish; (probably the bromine/iodine issue), and feel almost like hibernating, but with spring and summer, happily gravitate back to more raw fruits and vegetables. And having energy! Anyway, Sadhguru is the picture of health, isn't he? happy to have stumbled upon him. :-)
It's always so good to connect ever more with the ones who are working for the greater benefit.

Take good care, Archus

All the best, to anyone water fasting, or considering it!
