Cleanser newbie introducing herself... long and maybe boring... possibly looking for a buddy?

Hi everyone... I have done quite a bit of research on The Master Cleanser and think it is just what I need. I am an athlete who has always eaten very cleanly - not vegan or vegetarian, so those of you that are may disagree with my description of clean, but basically a good balance of nutrients spread throughout the day to give me the energy I need for my intense training. No processed foods, sugar, that kind of stuff. Well, I did always treat myself once a week with whatever I wanted, usually something to satisfy my sweet tooth or something like that. But good nutrition was very important to me and necessary for my training, and I had invested a lot in eating correctly for my lifestyle. Two weeks ago I fell from a pretty good height and suffered injuries that pretty much stopped my training cold... this was two days before my event. I went through a bit of a depression. Besides this injury, it has been a pretty bad year. If you look at a top ten list of cruddy things to happen to a person... well I have had probably 7-8 of those things in the past 24 months. My fitness got me through some pretty tough times, and having my goal kept me focused. But now I have had a very hard time... not only can I not train, but for the past two weeks I could barely move. I am recuperating at a fast pace, but I have frankly just, well, to put it lightly, I HAVE PIGGED OUT for the past two weeks. I had my first soda in over a year, my first Krispy Kreme ever (not just one... a had 10 of a box of 12)... really, this is just a tiny bit of what I have had. I doubt I have even had an ounce of protein! Oh, actually I think there was some on my pizza.

Anyway, blah, blah, blah... but basically I feel just plain yucky and now it is time to get focused again and after reading a lot about Mr. Burroughs' cleanse, I am excited to start. Tomorrow is day one. So basically, if there is anyone out there who is a newbie(s) starting as well - it would be great to be motivators/support for each other, don't you think? I have a good knowledge of fitness and nutrition, but no experience at all with something of this nature, so any advice for a first-timer would be so welcome.

Cheers!
