Re: Adrenal Fatigue/Sexual Exhaustion (for guys)

Joegrane,

Hopefully you got your health after detoxing from these toxic metals. I know! It's ridiculous that I'm going through this at the age of 28. The thing is, I've always had good health and a strong body. I've never had the flu (knock on wood) and even now I barely get colds. So I think once I heal whatever I have, my body will go back to normal since I'm still pretty young. Before these problems started happening I my libido was through the roof and had never experienced and ED. So this will reverse back.

My naturopath is assuming I have adrenal fatigue due to my other symptoms (ive listed them below this emaiL), so I didn't do a saliva test. But I think I will. My family doctor could test my testosterone as well in the meantime. Seeing an urologist would be useless I assume ?

As for heavy metals, this could be it as well. I'm almost certain that my liver is congested and I have 6 mercury fillings in my mouth so if my liver isn't detoxing properly, I could be getting chronically poisoned from mercury.

I also did work at a metal scrap yard for about 6 months and dealt with car batteries (I did use mask though). and as far as Cadmium, these problems started happening while I was addicted to Marijuana and smoking it every day - I stopped though. so it would make sense. but at the same time, it all started when I had a lot of stress in my life. This must have adversely affected my adrenal glands or hormones.

"If heavy metals are involved, I'd also expect changes in mood and mental performance. Sometimes that is anxiety but sometimes it is an intense, "difficult" mood, especially in times of stress. Some Depression is also common. Additional brain fog, worsening memory, food sensitivities , gut problems and low thyorid are quite commonly reported in detox groups"

You got this right - I've been having anxiety problems, mild Depression due to these problems - went to the emergency a few times due to intense heartburns and anxiety mimicking a heart attack. My memory is so bad that sometimes I'll ask people the same questions because I forgot - poor concentration could be a fight or flight response from adrenal fatigue though.

I will see if my doctor can prescribe me a hair analysis test for heavy metal issues. He said that if he doesn't find anything he will send me to a specialist. I think an internal medicine doctor, rather than endo, would be the best for this.

Do you think a colon/ Liver Flush would be wise at this moment ? Because my other symptoms indicate that my liver is congested.

Sorry for asking you all these questions. You've been very helpful.

Here is a list of my actual symptoms:

-Muscle pain all over body (getting better)
-eye floaters
-Insomnia
-Frequent gastrointestinal pain and heartburn (getting better)
-Weight Loss
-Fatigue in the morning
-Heavy feeling in legs for over a year
-Dark Circle under eyes and rapid aging around eyes
-Bad memory and poor concentration
-Chest Pain - Sometimes pain in center of chest after working out
- Constipation
-Tinnitus
-Anxiety/Depression
-Low libido, ED, and pelvic pain during sexual intercourse

pretty long hey ?

Really hope I can figure this out. But seems like I will have to pay for some additional tests cause I know my doctor won't do this through free healthcare.

Thanks again!
