I did a couple of ginger baths when on my cleanses... the only concerns I've heard about doing the baths while cleansing is that if they're too hot, you may feel weak from the heat. (That could be the case even when not fasting, however.)
I've read that ginger baths and skin brushing can really enhance a cleanse, helping the toxins find their way out. :)
It was not clear from your notes whether you've read The Master Cleanse by Stanley Burroughs. If you haven't, I would highly recommend that you do before starting the cleanse. It can be bought on Amazon.com or health food stores for less than $10; you can also find the entire text online, if you do a search.
