Re: Yes or no on fish, chicken, meat

Quite an important question. Candida diet should provide PLENTY of protein but which ones can we eat???

Furthermore, we cut out grain with High carbs, but grain is full of vit. B How do we cope? since vit B6 is essential in order to assimilate protein. Many things to ponder about.

The redder the meat the more acidic, I used to not tolerate red meat. (I would experience fatigue after eating red meat) Fish is a must - omega 3 and extra protein- the extra protein is REALLY important (pumpkin seed are another great source of vegan protein).

Chicken is often boosted with Antibiotics (they grow faster and it pays off more) so! it is worrisome. I used to eat fish and chicken (without Antibiotics - raised on a friend's farm) + eggs + tofu (no tofu of you have thyroid issues though).
Now that I feel better, I do eat red meat as well.

Eggs are fantastic- when my liver struggles and I do not have any appetite an egg mixed in soy milk or almond milk will get me through the day. Liquid does not require digestion (no liver involve) and it assimilates well. Eggs are a good source of both protein and vitamin.

Hope this helps,

Jhan
