Obviously infected with something.

It's important to know exactly what it is. Bacteria or virus.

I used to get a similar condition at least once per year. Then a doctor finally got up off his ass and swabbed it. They found out it was Herpes Zoster all along. If it was to get into the optic nerve zoster can cause blindness so they hospitalized me. Now I use the proper treatment (ACYCLOVIR) and nip it in the bud at the first signs. I used to use the Hulda Clark method but the drug is less of a hassle.

If you supplemented with D3 it probably wouldn't happen nearly as often.
