Re: Advise on fast length if I start 2/2 and need to be at work on 3/2?
Hello !
You are very organized and informed :)
I agree with Arcus on all points, except about enemas - even if the classical Hygiene think it is a waste of energy, my experience show that if the body is trying too hard to expel some garbage and can't, -- given by too strong of detox and weakness while having abdominal fullness or tension -- it is best to help it occasionally, even and even more so during a fast. This to say this should not be your first enema in your life; it does not make sense experimenting with it under critical circumstance, even though there is nearly nothing critical in a enema done correctly. It just brings relief.
I am checking in also because I feel some of my posts on electrolytes may have been understood the wrong way. If life threatening weakness/arrhythmia/strongest-cramp-in_Life takes place, it makes sense to give your body an electrolyte bath while fasting or pop a pill on a normal diet. I strongly agree that pills should be avoided otherwise, even more so while fasting or re-feeding. For people with higher body weight, I believe, electrolyte imbalance is less likely during a fast.
On the subject of vitamins/minerals -- I agree -- best avoid them while starting to eat. If your food, though, is vitamin/mineral depleted, non-organic, raised on a depleted soil, includes non-sprouted grains and/or non-organic animal products or is cooked more than its 30-40%, it makes sense adding vitamins after the initial 2-3 weeks of eating, or 4 weeks, if you fasted 4 weeks previously.
I wish you the best results possible, and please continue sharing :)
