Yes. A quick google search says you're right on that one. The twisting rope formation is characteristic of a mycelial strand. (basically, fungal "roots") I even saw one with a lobe-shaped tip that was killing a nematode. It looked like threader's "string lichens", too.

Jeez, fungi make me shudder....
