EVERYTIME I STOP THE MEDS FOR A WEEK OR MORE THE LARVAE COME BACK. Ivermectin also paralyzes, kills or sterilizes but there are some that don't make it to your gut or intestines to receive the meds. some larvae will live in your joints, cartilidge and muscles etc.. This is called disseminated strongyloidiasis once the larvae molt 2 or 3 times they will graduate to an egg laying female. which can lay lots of eggs and start the process over again. I read a lot of articles with disseminated severe infections causedby steroids and all the people that died had one thing in common the drs assumed they were cured after a few doses of meds than the patient was back with worse parasitic infections than the first go round. death was usually a result in liver damage not from the meds but from the strongyles themselves after autopsies were performed. I do switch meds from ivemectin and albendazole then to fenben than back again. I still feel better now than I did before the meds. tests are normal for liver and blood with meds than without .
