Re: Arkansas Children Taken Away From Parents Because Dad Takes MMS
Just to update on this, as it turns out, the children were not taken away for possession of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement primarily, but more accurately, due to multiple apparent allegations of child abuse which are apparently under investigation...
Needless to say, I find it odd that the police would confiscate
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement from a home under the context of safety given that homes so often contain numerous chemicals such as medication and cleaners which would prove far more toxic or lethal than
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement .
However, it appears as though a court documents referenced an incident where one of the children(16-year-old boy) brought an MMS bottle to a friend’s house and which caused them to undergo lung irritation after smelling it. The Father on the other hand claims that the boys may have inhaled a different chemical used for the aquaponics system, and that he used the incident to try to get out of his parents’ homeschooling program.
My take is that the incident sounds very real given that the activated MMS could easily irritated the pathways which in turn induces coughing. And so I'm afraid the Dad is either trying to avoid the conclusion or simply isn't well informed enough to acknowledge the risks of inhaling chlorine dioxide. Whatever the case, teenagers should never be handling MMS either at home or elsewhere and so this needs addressing.
Beyond this, it appears as though authorities chose to use or the MMS as a distraction while they manoeuvred the parents and family to take possession of the children. These are well known tactics in cases such as these as authorities aim to minimize the emotional reactions that come from child confiscations from homes.
Having said all that, it also appears as though there is much more to this case than the media initially reported as people continue to come forward with information pertaining to the charges brought up against the parents. One of which is where some of the children had come forward in search of help to go to public school, of which they were denied by the parents.
These types of issues create sticky ground for authorities and the parental right to homeschool which may lead to a higher court as such laws are challenged.
