Hashimoto’s disease, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, high cholesterol and Psoriasis

"My skin has been completely clear for over 3 months. I am staying with the diet because it seems to work for me."
I am 54 years old, a nurse for 30 years and live in Alabama, USA. I have been diagnosed with hashimoto’s disease, hypertension,
Rheumatoid Arthritis , high cholesterol and Psoriasis.
The more drugs I took the worse I felt and as I read up on the drugs I realized they were causing me to have more problems. The thyroid drug I took for hashimoto’s disease made the
Psoriasis worse and also kept my blood pressure elevated because of the salt content.
I am now off all drugs except for one blood pressure drug and feel like a new person. For me, it works but it takes time to get rid of the toxins in your body that cause so many problems.

I had
Psoriasis all of my life. It was never bad until about 3 years ago when it started completely covering my arms and legs. I took a couple of different medications my doctor gave me and every cream on the market. The medications caused a lot of side effects and the creams just thinned my skin. In the spring of 2014 I broke out all over and for the first time it was on my face and my hairline. I started looking for alternatives and natural solutions.
I bought Dr. Pagano’s book Healing Psoriasis. The diet is so strict and he tells you in the book you are going to possibly get worse before you get better because of the toxins leaving your body. He also lets you know you will not heal over night. I started the diet in May of 2014 and 3 weeks later the sores were spreading and meeting up as they spread.
It was so discouraging because the diet was so strict and I was getting worse. I would wake up in the morning with my pillowcase bloody from the spots on my face.
I mustered through what he calls “the terrible time” which it really was. Around the middle of September the redness was gone and almost totally healed.
The diet is high alkaline/ low acid and in the beginning very restrictive. I stuck right to it until I was completely healed, and then started adding a few things back that he says to try after you heal. It has worked for me. It is so hard in the beginning because of the strictness of the diet and it usually gets worse before you start to heal.
My skin has been completely clear for over 3 months. I am staying with the diet because it seems to work for me.
