Re: tapeworm questions
1. Is a 200 mg pill of Albeza enough to treat
Tapeworms (fish or beef tapeworm)? It's not pork because I never ate pig in my life.
Took one pill followed by another one two weeks later. From what I have read a single 200 mg pill us good for pinworms.
>>No, need longer treatment - Albdendazole is not the preferred remedy for tapes.
2. Will a capsule endoscopy definitely show
Tapeworms in the intestinal region? Had a ultra sound of the organs, and came back normal. So I don't have liver flukes are any thing that can travel in the organs.
>>quite possible.
3. Has anyone taking the traditional laboratory stool test for
parasites and came back negative, but ended up having parasites?
>>Very common - read parawellness blog

A few weeks after my colonoscopy, it did find a segment of what look like a of a tapeworm. my new GI is telling me to come to terms of living life with stomach pain and fibromyalgia. I pressured into giving me a capsule endoscopy. Should I be doing anything else.
>>Fibromyalgia is caused by immune reactions - most GI problems are immune based so the doctor's opinions are incorrect.
