1. I don't know much about Benzos other than how addictive they are (relatives & many forum posters develop horrendous post-benzo anxiety disorders - worse than anything they originally had.)
It seems like I have pyroluria (a stressed induced zinc & b6 deficiency - look into it!) found out that taking Sublingual Coenzymated B6 (Source Naturals) really helped me fall asleep and dream better. It got rid of this dreadful "wired" insomnia feeling.
Your neurochemistry and nutritional deficincies may vary!
My go-to "need to get back to sleep" cocktail is 1 to 1.5 grams of tryptophan along with 0.5mg of melatonin.
2.)Vitamin C was extremely helpful to me. It gave me energy and healed my terribly stressed and toxin-filled body. The adrenals require lots of Vitmain C for functioning and stress tends to deplete it. I took anywhere from 1 to 8 grams a day (in different forums, depending on how much I needed and could tolerate at each time).
