If I want to take Iodine in the 1-3 gram range or so, is it okay to take SSKI 2%? Or will I be getting too much elemental iodine? I ran across a thread where people were debating on elemental Iodine being an oxidant and that pro-oxidants age the body and therefore that'd be an issue with taking really large doses. SSKI is an anti-oxidant according to the thread and so different but is the 2% elemental in SSKI 2% too much elemental at gram dosages?
I know that we need some Iodine and some iodide, but if I'm going to try working my way up to large doses, can I do that with sski 2% the same way some have done with sski?
