Amazing how long it has taken for the medical field to begin the process of approving a chitin inhibitor drug. Finding a good chitin inhibitor with minimal side effects could provide another weapon against fungus. The question is whether it could provide long term improvement or not? I'm sure candida would eventually adapt to it, but if the candida is forced to be without chitin than this could be an advantage. For some any type of relief with minimal side effects might help.
