i am going through it now just had surgery to close hole using tissue from gums. it wasnt completly successful but did close some. now i have to see ear nose & throat dr. to close the rest since im diabetic. I'm now on 3rd round of Antibiotics & still have severe pain & swelling so dont waste time call your dentist asap & good luck to ya.
