The first day, you drink fresh OJ, 8 oz at a time. SIP it! All you want.
Next day, OJ, then make your soup...
Cut up vegetables. Potatoes, carrots, onions, celery, green beans, peppers, fresh garlic... whatever you like! Cover with purified water and simmer til tender (about 10 minutes). Throw in some chopped ripe tomatoes and fresh herbs if you like, and a bit of Sea Salt ... YUMM!
Have this for lunch, and dinner too, or do a small salad, simply dressed.
Eat clean and light for at least a week, and my naturopath has me add 1 tsp. metamucil (like baby food psyllium) 3x per day til digestion is well established.
Your body continues to cleanse during the break. Help it along by continuing to drink LOTS of water, and fresh fruit/veggie juices if you like! Fruit in the am, veggie in the pm.
You can ruin all the hard won benefits of a fast by breaking badly. Go clean, light and easy, and get your digestion well established before eating "normally". And now that you have the trash OUT... don't put it back IN!! (the tough part)
