Re: Question for Brian
no problem. :)
unfortunately an egg or two a day simply doesn't cut it. we simply don't get enough of these crucial amonios in our normal diets. Not to say you shouldn't research and focus on diet as much as possible, but the reality is that many of us who suffer from
Depression have an imbaalance to these aminos in our brains and/or a deficiency in our bodies mechanism to break down and metabolize proteins. anyway, off to work now, but just wanted to give you the link to the tryptophan I use:
http://www.antiaging-systems.com/a2z/ltryptophan.htm
this place is great!
Also, you will encounter people advertising 5HTP instead of tryptophan.. The reason tryptophan is no longer available in the states is complicated and often misunderstood.. but the most important factor to me is simply the fact that 5-HTP is not nearly as effective as pure (pharmaceutical grade) l-tryptophan. L-tryptophan is the *direct* pre-cursor to serotonin while 5-HTP is further down on the chain.. Not like that matters all that much but it simply does not work as well..
Yeah, exercise is difficult for all of us but JUST DO IT! 15 minutes a day, man. Come on, you can do it! If you don't like treadmills (many of which have tv's attached now ya know) get outside into nature and briskly walk up a hill or something. if you are going to walk only though, it must be fast!the key is to get the heart rate nice and high for an extended period of time. this is crucial!
It will change your life! :)
Kind Regards,
Brian
