Yes, James. Candida Albicans don't ferment Lactose but if you ingest Lactose, it is degraded to Glucose and Galactose in the intestines by the enzyme Lactase . However, pure Lactulose goes straight to the colon because we don't have any enzyme to digest it. Yeast don't ferment Lactulose.
