I just started on a grain free diet 2 days ago. I have candida over growth, parasites, and leaky gut. I was only eating quinoa and millet, but decided to cut them out to see if it would help (I was still bloated after two months, and so far im less bloated than I was). I am liberally eating animal fats for calories and am only eating non starchy vegetables and avoiding fruit.
So basically this is a meat & non starchy vegetables only diet. Except a chia seed, slippery elm, marshmallow root porridge. (I have a lot of food allergies ) (Im also doing coffee enemas, h2o2 therapy, urine therapy, anti fungals, glutamine, D.E)
How long should I stay on this kind of diet? Or, if you've had a diet like this, how long have you stayed on it? Any nasty side effects, or did you feel awesome? Any nutrient deficiencies I should keep an eye on?
