Actually, not eating will cause you to gain weight. When your body senses you're not eating it goes into starvation mode and you will start packing on pounds. It does this because it's trying to store food for later so when you DON'T eat it has something to keep you going.

Don't starve yourself! You'll only put on more wight if you do. The reality is, you need to eat MORE to lose more, and don't start cutting out calories, reducing your saturated fat or any of that hype.

I highly recommend you look to a book by Julia Ross called The Diet Cure for the real deal on dieting. It's not about depriving yourself of what's actually good for you that the media has labeled as "bad"...
