Re: Debunking oil pulling

I did a 3 month oil pulling regime when i went to the dentist and found out i had 9 cavities. i didn't have a lot of money, so i looked for alternative cures, at least till i could get my teeth fixed. In addition to brushing 2x a day, flossing 1x a day, i started using coconut oil pulling 2x a day for 20-25 mintues each time. 3 Months later i had saved up enough money to get a major cavity filled and a couple of others, and while there was no more degradation of my cavities (they did not get worse) there were no improvements either. The only improvement i noticed was my gums felt better, probably because of all the exercise 2x a day. But nope, nada results. I think you can save some time and use a non alcohol, non saccharin mouthwash (try using ACT, it works well, and doesn't dry out your mouth) and save 20 mins a day. That was my result with this trial.
