It's funny you mention drinking regular milk. I also developed EC after I stopped drinking milk. I don't know if lactic acid in milk somehow prevented overgrowth of bacteria or candida...it's what kills bad bacteria's protective barrier so possibly the good bacteria can take over. It also has vitamin D added, which may be easier to absorb in liquid instead of pill form. Overgrowth of candida can cause celiac disease. I am not sure if I got it that way, though. I probably didn't absorb EFAs and B vitamins as well due to celiac disease, too.
