Re: Taking pituitary glandular equal setbacks in AF recovery, insomnia and anxiety?

Appreciate the responses, and your last paragraph shares a lot of my feelings about dealing with AF long-term.

I was taking a relatively low amount of the Cytozyme -- 1 tablet per day (bottle says take 1-3 daily )-- but enough that it could make a difference. I definitely felt, up until recently, like there was some kind of a "boost" getting me through the rough days and keeping my energy levels up that hasn't been there, and the adrenal glandular would fit that bill.

I think I'm going to stop the B complex until further notice. I wasn't even taking a full dose, but I know it can cause sleep issues. I did fine on my current multivitamin (with all the B vitamins just in lower dosages) and separate B5 for about six months until I started seeing problems.

As I said, I don't know enough about the pituitary glandular. Dr. Wilson's adrenal rebuilder actually combines several glandulars, including pituitary, albeit without the hormones, so I don't know. Maybe it didn't do anything good or bad -- either way, the response is the same -- stop taking it and go back to the AD.

But I'm wondering about the timing -- if I need to ween off of it, gradually reintroduce the AD or risk creating more endocrine problems, et cetera.

One of the hardest things about AF is that it's like navigating a minefield, and you can't always know what the right move is. What I do know is that I'm very very angry at myself for not paying attention to my supplements, and have to make sure that this never happens again.
