Niacin, depression, and liver problems? Need help!

Sorry if this isn't the right forum, I'm still learning how to use this site.

So I have been struggling with Depression for the last few years (I'm only 20) and the only thing that has really helped me (I've tried lots of stuff..) is niacin!
But unfortunately it only helps at first, and then it seems I get some sort of liver problem?

After I take niacin it seems as though my metabolism slows down? The more I take the more my metabolism seems to slow down and I can actually feel the fat around my midsection more? I know that sounds weird.

About 3 months ago I took a 500mg dose and felt absolutely amazing! My Depression had lifted, anxiety gone, and I seriously never felt better in my life, and then everything crashed. It felt as though my metabolism shut off. I became extremely fatigued. I had no energy was extremely lethargic. I had no appetite and put on fat VERY fast. Took me about a month to get back to normal...

I was just wondering if this has to do with the liver? People who say they've taken Niacin for Depression don't seem to have this problem that I do, is this a underlying liver problem that I have?

Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you!!!

P.S. Something that also helped me with my depression alot was taking Triple Leaf dieters green tea. I accidentley bought it thinking it was just regular green tea. After going to the bathroom, I felt very very good, very clear in my head, and my libido came back (something that I haven't seen in awhile...). I've ordered dr schulze intestinal cleanse 1 and 2, hoping maybe that will help.

Thanks again!! just looking for some help..
