Prostate problems.. Can iodine help?

Ive recently learned that my father has a prostate problem.. hes turning 76 this year but other than that and some typical vision problems associated with age, hes in generally good health.. doesnt smoke.. drinks very little..doesnt eat fried foods, etc. etc. etc


I was wondering if anybody has any experience of knowledge of Iodine helping in prostate problems.. Ive heard the prostate concentrates Iodine like many glands and needs it to function properly..
