Those of you following The Schwarbien Principal Diet
Hey y'all
I have a few questions about this, possibly as I am fairly dumb when it comes to cooking, its never been my forte at all!
Although I ave been roughly on this diet for eight months, I decided to fine tune it to perfection and stop having binge outs on Faiths magic cakes which throws the whole balance off (but is fun the process)
So...
When measuring out carbs, say looking for 15g of brown rice pasta. On the packet 100g of this pasta equates to 70g of carbs, so in essence, does this mean for this particular product, that I to make 15g of carbs I actually want around 20g on the scales (basic formula of 20g minus 30% which is what the packet is roughly) - 14g?
Confuddled Mikey :) PHD's are useless in this world.
Also, what sort of reactions did you have that told you that you should increase or reduce the carbs? Getting the balance right is key, so to hear some experiences would be fab.
If anyone has any meal plans they wouldn't mind sharing that would be ace too. The UK is fairly void of some of the protein sources she mentions in the book, turkey and chicken sausages? I have NEVER seen them in the UK.
