Actually the breath test machine looked pretty old. All I did was breath in to a tube and somehow it detected gases I was breathing out. For the gastric emptying study they had me eat an egg salad sandwich that had some kind of radio active material. Then they x-rayed me every 15 minutes to see how fast it was moving. I was actually laughing thinking these machines are so old, they are not going to figure anything out. I was glad I was wrong. I am not happy with the diagnosis but at least I know what's going on and can control what is happening now. I am so sorry that these tests aren't available to you. At least you could rule it out.
