Hi, I agree with Archus,
and can only add that there can be all sorts of feelings in the "stomach"--often we say stomach when we mean colon--and this is not hunger--esp. if you are past four or five days. The gum and breath mints messed up the timing
however, as these behave as food to the body, albeit very poor food, lacking in nourishment.
Real hunger will return as more of a feeling in the throat. Other sensations in the digestive tract are
many and varied. Try to enjoy the coming and going of them... and yes, the hot, boiled water can be soothing.
It sounds like you have the right attitude, at this point. Best to be somewhat detached, curious and gentle.
