Re: Triamcinolone acetonide Epiceram Sun Damage?

Thanks for the article

wow...Hyaluronidase injections.  It really looked like they worked.  I uploaded two pics today:

I don't really think I have sun damage/keratosis on my lips.  I think the Dermatologist mis-interpreted my peeling inflammation with sun damage (i had peeled my lips the night before).  However, the left side seems to peel more often than the right side...Could it be that the skin is trying to grow over the keratosis and can't?  I think i should get a second opinion...

I started peeling my lips over 20 years ago.  I've lived overseas twice since then (in hot climates) and my symptoms disappeared.  I had my peeling under control the last 10 years or so but in april of last year, I started peeling heavily again.  I went to Central America in May and they peeled again...did I experience sun exposure/trauma?

This summer, the peeling stopped for 2-3 months and I was using my wife's "The Lip Balm" by LaMer.  When the weather cooled this fall, I started having problems again, starting with the corners and mostly the left side.  I've researched the LaMer stuff and it's full of nasty stuff not recommended for lips...

I notice that my mom has trouble with her lips as well...she's 1/2 filipino (i'm 1/4) so it might be a case of asian genetics and exposure to cold North American climates.

Anyway, I'm continuing with Triamcinolone cream & Epiceram.  I'm following the example posted by #181350  My plan is to use Triamcinolone for a month and carefully clip detached skin.  I'll use the Epiceram daily as well.
