Exactly..that is what I was saying to you. It is not about everyday loyalty to a friend that I am talking about. It's about setting ourselves apart from others when it comes to debating spiritual things. It's also about not being manipulated because someone thinks they have you in their pocket.
It's much like the problem of using some well known Pastor's video because it explains better than we can do. However some people complain they don't like what this pastor says in other videos. One almost needs to use a disclaimer to even agree with anyone on any subject because it seems to mean that you agree with everything they do. Which I don't. I may agree with some things that you say but not all. In the beginning I was all ears to hear you out but your definition of Pharisee doesn't line up exactly like mine. Now you think poorly of my spiritual condition because of it?
As far as Hunter speaking his mind...I have no problem with him telling you what he did...just for the record... and with God as my witness. I'm very happy for him and what he has found in his spiritual search. Can he and I benefit by being blessed even more by God in all sorts of ways and gifts...surely that's so...but that is our journey to discover what God has for us....put your silver platter away Ed...God's got this covered.
