Re: When to stop raising iodine?

I think our body always tells us what to do, but we dont always listen nor know what to listen for.

I figured on 300mg because Trapper said that was the sweet spot for him on iodine. But like any good experimenter Im sure Ill push it until my body tells me otherwise.

Initially when I started in December with small amounts of nascent Iodine I noticed some detox after a couple weeks when I doubled the dosage on particular days. slight headache, slight fever (which was remedied by driking a large glass of water) and occasional heart palitations..

I noticed similiar when I went to Lugols 12.5mg a day...

But when I went to 50mg - no detox.
and when I went to 100mg- no detox.
today i took 200mg 2 hours ago - no detox.

Im not sure if its best to keep my dosage in one shot or to split it up in 2 dosages.. But right now Im keeping it in one dose to see if thats best for getting rid of other halogens.

Generally speaking Im in pretty good health. Only problem I had was hypothyroid diagnosis by the doctor but not really having any symptoms.. (of course now that Ive been taking iodine, I do notice QUITE a difference with my warmth and things like my eyes not being dry anymore)

I supplment with 200-600mcg of selenium everyday.. and do liberally salt my food with realsalt brand salt. I also take blackstrap molasses and ACV to provide some minerals.
