Re: The error of Lordship salvation

"Well, I just need a short version if anyone has it, of why there are calvinists dealing in works. Can I not use that label to describe a certain type belief anymore due to some fact that I'm unaware of? Or is it because the internet is full of lies?"

I know what you mean. I did a little research on Paul Washer since he was not well received here. You are right. It does not make sense. I don't know if he is being lied about or not. Some videos look like they took things he said out of context. I really don't know. I heard him say some strange things, however, we know people can manipulate videos with the edit feature to make things appear as they are not. On the videos of him that I posted, I do agree with them as he was preaching scripture. Some people think they are born again when they are not. They may have done some outward deed (like walking down an aisle or repeating a meaningless (to them) prayer) thinking that would save them instead of really receiving Christ with their heart and mind. On the videos that I posted he was not preaching that works would save you. He was preaching scripture. Once you are born again you are motivated to good works, but you cannot earn salvation by good works.

I have been wondering how you are. I see that you are typing quite a bit in here now. That must be good news about your arm.
