Re: Irregular and fast heartbeats, sometimes accompanied by faintness - HELP

I have the exact thing thing happening. Mine is being caused by reflux. You don't have to have burning in your throat to have reflux. Also, my reflux is from low stomach acid, not too much of it. The reflux rears up into the esophagus and irritates that vague nerve. It's actually the vagus nerve causing the racing/irregular heart, anxiety, feeling like you're going to pass out stuff. A hiatal hernia in your upper stomach will also cause the vagus nerve to do this. I am now trying to find a way to treat this as as naturally as possible. I already take Betaine HCL for the low stomach acid. Are you under a lot of stress by any chance or had any traumas/tragedies? Emotional upset can cause this as well.
