Re: Digestion extremely screwed up from antibiotics please help?
LOL I do love to get them all riled up. They take things way too seriously! Not that health shouldn't be taken seriously but living life without stressing over every little thing is just as important.
I think I remember that drone too! I admit that I bought into that hype for a long time myself. I had a hair test done not too long ago and it is sad that they are still recommending the low carb paleo diet to fix adrenal and thyroid problems. I followed that diet religiously for a year and a half and spent most of the time bedridden and looking like a chemo victim. The doctors even diagnosed me with anorexia! I was like "you don't understand...I'm STARVING! I would kill for a piece of cheesecake right now!" But because I was so terrified of the evil grains and dairy I suffered big time :(
If you're becoming lacto-thirsty I say give your body what it wants. Nature was awesome enough to give us somatic intelligence, so when your body is asking for something there's a reason for it. I don't buy the whole "your body craves what it's allergic to" theory. I'm highly allergic to tumeric and I never crave that sh*t! The reason we crave things like milk, carbs, meat etc (anything but the processed fake stuff) is because there is some nutrient in it that we need. I say if you're feeling the need for milk don't wait...just start super slow so you can adjust to it again. like a shot glass full a day to start and work your way up. That's what I did.
Yeah the Immune Tree is hands down the best next to shoving the calf out of the way and taking hold of that teat yourself LOL! I'm doing 1/2 teaspoon of it a day. I do it in the morning. I either mix it in with my oatmeal or if I'm eating french toast or something like that I'll mix it into a glass of milk
