You may want to try 2 tsp of salt to 32 ounces, as opposed to 2 Tbsp. A laxative tea the night before the salt water cleanse may help, followed by the salt water first thing in the AM.
Many gulp it to try to just get it down. That may work for some, but not for others. When on the MC, I took sips every minute. Yes, it took longer, but I know my body and gulping will only make it come back up (and it doesn't matter what I gulp).
My main concern, however, with a salt water flush is that one not have a condition in which salt may be harmful to them in fast or excessive doses. On the MC, the sodium intake is very limited (lemons only have approx. 1 mg each, and maple syrup approx.2 mg). However, if one is not on a cleanse, this may be an overload of salt. Just something to consider :)
